I decided to photograph my mom&#8217;s homemade bread in the oven. Her whole wheat bread is one of my personal favorite things and she always made it a priority to make it for us throughout the week. Our family would make sandwiches with it almost everyday for lunch and take a few loaves with us on car trips. In fact, this is kind of bad, but it almost ruined all other bread for me. It took me an embarrassingly long time to get used to the idea of eating store bought whole wheat bread. I really like how the vibrancy of the warm tones in this photo. The oven, sides of the bread pans, and the heaters in the back all kind of draw your eye forward, but personally, I think my favorite part of the photo is the fact that you can see the crust on the outside of the bread so clearly defined.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For this weeks photo challenges, we were asked to create leading lines through food photography.
