Title

Welcome to my Explorations website -- the eighth and final website I created during my time at Freestyle. Here you will find the Blink book I created, based off of Malcom Gladwell's "Blink", as well as a summation of my 2 years at Freestyle.
Coming into Freestyle Junior year, I was pretty confident of my graphic design skills in Photoshop and thought I would just be able to breeze by for the next two years. I was very wrong. Little did I know, I would have a vast array of programs to learn within a few months. Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Flash, just to name a few. Each program had its own skillset required to succeed which allowed me to greatly expand my knowledge of creating digital content. By the end of the year, I had learned more than I thought I would have. I could single-handedly man the recording studio, had in-and-out knowledge of Protools, Reason, and several Adobe programs, and I also became embedded into a community of like-minded people who were looking for something new in their education, no matter what the challenge. During the summer after Junior year, I worked on mobile application development for my senior project, which helped me learn that I indeed wanted to study computer science in the years to come.
Below are the two projects I created for the explorations unit- my Blink book and experimental art piece. Clicking them will take you to larger versions.
