The visual aspect of things is usually one of my favorite parts of any project. That’s why I love learning how to use InDesign and Illustrator so much. This year, we learned how to make one-page flyers for events. We made them completely from scratch, which was challenging but amazing at the same time because I had the freedom to make it exactly how I wanted. We were allowed to make it for a real event or a fake event (I’ll let guess which one I chose! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example of what the InDesign behind-the-scenes looks like. To the left I have my skunk flyer, on the right our practice flower catalog. One of the fun things about InDesign is that you can set it up so that if you change the font\/size\/style of one heading, it will adjust and change for all of the headings (and paragraphs, titles, subtitles, etc.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

One fun thing I did in InDesign designed a special celebratory post for my 100th post on my food Instagram account. Along with my sister Macy, I run an Instagram account called Carmalized where we are making a dish from every single country in the whole world! It’s been a lot of fun and InDesign definitely really helps make things like that simple and easy to design.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
