INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

To celebrate and demonstrate our growth over the last two years at Freestyle, we host a showcase! Though we cannot have one in person this year, we still have our websites. Here are two of my works that I feel best shows my growth as an artist.<\/p>\n

Junior Exploration vs. Zenith<\/strong><\/p>\n

what is this supposed to be?<\/small><\/p>\n

My junior exploration was my first foray into 3D modeling. I was very confused the entire way through but now that I think about it it was very similar to what I did for my Zenith except I did it better with my Zenith. I made a character, brainstormed a design in 2D, and translated it to 3D (albiet I did a bit more than that for Zenith).<\/p>\n

Reflection<\/strong><\/p>\n

I tried a new program (Zbrush for Junior year, UE4 for senior) and attempted to learn it. While my junior exploration was very poorly timed, and I ran out of time and energy, I feel my Zenith workflow was better planned and executed. I also felt I learned more from my attempts with UE4 than I did with learning Zbrush back in junior year.<\/p>\n

I felt my ability to schedule and execute a project has improved, as well as my confidence in risktaking.<\/p>\n
