Introduction
I did the Zenith project with Yan-Kun Zhang, and after discussion we decided to do something called “fluid painting”. It’s a kind of painting that we could pour different colors of flowing acrylic paints on the canvas and make them flow on it to make a piece of art. In our Zenith project, we aren’t just simply pour the paints, but we draw and put things in the painting to create beautiful illustrations and creative textures.
This project is a new challenge for me because I haven’t make one of these painting before and it requires me to make balance on the color we use. Also, we have to think of lot of ideas of illustrations and textures we are gonna use so it might be a challenge.
From this project, I learned more about color combinations, and many different skills to create different painting textures such as using a string to pull the colors around and make a beautiful shape on the canvas.
