I stumbled on this picture from one of our photo albums. I had just received these new markers for my birthday, and I had the great idea that give my younger sister a makeover. I drew a bunch of hearts and circles over her face. Once we were satisfied with the look, I confidently said &#8220;Caitlin, you should run upstairs and show mom!&#8221; As she went to look for Mom, I began to put away the markers. Then it hit me. I was going to get in big trouble for this. I ran after her, but I was too late. Mom was understandably mad and was yelling at both of us as she went to wash off the ink. At this point, my mom had made the unfortunate discovery that I my brand new pens were permanent markers. She scrubbed more and more with little to no progress, when she just started laughing.
