I was instantly drawn to the giant mural and wanted to know more about it. I could see the minimalist comic strip portray the movement of a diver in such simple panels. As and athlete I connected with this piece as both athlete and artist because it was able to capture the simplicity of doing our respected sports while not making it seem overdone or misportraying the feeling of competing. This is why it is in my museum.
