Hi, my name is Cullen Blanchfield and I’m a WebAudio student at Freestyle Academy. I have enrolled in English 3 Honors and Design and my projects are going to be based off of my interests in the physical and spiritual worlds. Seen on my website are assigned buttons for each of my areas of projects. Each button directs you to an assortment of projects I have created. The music playing is an original track that I created based on my love for rap music.
Here is my first project based website I've ever created! We were assigned multiple tasks to create conceptual poems, illustrations, and pictures. This website all started with a pen and piece of paper when I sketched out Derek and Boomer. Derek and Boomer are two brothers who find themselves in a situation on the football field that will change their lives forever. In this project I explored what keeps a marriage together. I have interviewed 4 different married couples, all at very different stages in their marriage to collect the most accurate information possible. For my final project during my junior year in highschool, I decided to explore something completely new to me. I have a deep interst in film and I am very excited to transfer into the film class here at Freestyle next year! In this project I explored the idea of evoking emotion through film. I have a short film on an organization called "Challenger Baseball" to represent the research I have done surrounding this topic. Challenger Baseball has shown me so many amazing things but it has mainly shown me pure emotion. The players at Challenger Baseball remind me why the sport of baseball is such a great one.
