  • 44-Viewpoint

In this viewpoint photo, I aimed to capture the sensation of vertigo associated with a fear of heights. By choosing a higher angle from my apartment complex, I believe I effectively conveyed the feeling of being up high, which may resonate with anyone who shares this phobia.

  • 43-Film Noir

To create a Film Noir effect, I positioned an angel figurine in a dark corner of my room. Using Lightroom, I enhanced the photo’s drama by converting it to black and white. The result is a moody and atmospheric image reminiscent of classic Film Noir style.

  • 42-Small vs Large

To play with scale in this image, I positioned the plush boar closer to the camera and the truck in the distant background. This arrangement creates an optical illusion that makes the boar appear larger than its actual size.

  • 41-Color Theory

In this photo, I opted for a color palette consisting of blues and grays. The contrasting tones work harmoniously together, creating a captivating focal point.

  • 40-Long Shutter Speed Exposure

This photo shows my attempt at creating the numbers “2023” using a long exposure technique and my phone’s flashlight. I used Lightroom to enhance the colors in the image, giving it a more vibrant look.

  • 26-Geometry

This is the city hall of Mountain View. I decided to desaturate it to make the geometric shapes pop a bit more.

  • 23-Leading Lines

The circularity of this leads you from the front all the way to the back of the photo. Both the top and bottom part of the grill does this.

  • 22-Stranger

I imagine this person to be an early adult. Someone who enjoys biking everywhere he can, especially on days when the sun is out and the air is running.

  • 20-Rule of odds

Took this photo while thinking about this rule. I like how colorful the woman on the right is also as they balance out the photo with two people on the right side. I also Like how there is a center to the photo, leading your eyes there.

  • 18-#NoFilter

I’m definitely happy with this photo even without any photo editing of any sort. I took this picture in the rules of thirds to make it more appealing and chose it where it also shows where it is, adding a sense of realism.
