My name is Delia Copeland. I am in my senior year at Mountain View High School, and attending my first year of Freestyle Academy. I have lived in Mountain View my whole life with both my parents as well as my younger sister and brother.
I have a passion for art and political science. I am a sixth year delegate in the statewide Youth and Government Program where I have served in the court system five out of my six years. This is also my third year as a member of the Mountain View Youth Advisory Committee which focuses on civic engagement and support of teens in the community.
My love for art has always been a large factor in my life, as I struggled to cope with ADHD, anxiety, and depression, especially when high school began. Though my passion for illustrating did not fully emerge until high school, I have spent my childhood exploring other creative mediums. I am a fairly proficient seamstress. I got my start in illustration digitally, on an iPad Pro. I have also begun to also work traditionally. I have attended an art class outside of school, as well as a drawing course at Mountain View High.
