Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Devon Bartlett. This is the introduction to my website, and has links to all the websites I have created in my time at Freestyle. You can read a little about each website on each page, then you can visit the website itself. To create all my websites I used Adobe Dreamweaver. This website is the first website I created using Javascript. This was an interesting, yet difficult, new element in the creation of websites.

On my Self-Portrait website you can find work from one of my first websites as a Freestyle Student. This website is all about me. Here you can learn about me, my family, friends, and more. You can also see my work from all my classes during the Self-Portrait unit.

On my Narrative 1 website you will find all my work from that unit. You can find my animation, animatic, graphic novel, and more. From this unit, I am proudest of my animation as it was a new program and took a lot of time and hard work.

On my Documentary website you can find all my work from the Documentary unit. You can read my book, see my slideshow and more. This unit was challenging as it required working with other people and being somewhat dependent on them. However it was a good learning experience.

The Conceptual unit as there was a little more freedom in regards to what we could do. We also made our first single page website. Our previous websites used multiple pages, while this one was a single page with multiple different sections.

For the Profile unit we made a profile about an interesting person in the community and researched something related to the person and/or what they do. We made a magazine article as one of our main final products.

For the Narrative 2 unit we wrote a dialouge based story. Then we created many pieces related to our stroy. To see all this work and read my story, visit my Narrative website.

The Innovator unit allowed people to design their own project, within certain limits. I partnered up with a film student to create a fun, entertaining music video with all sounds played on the kazoo. We created a video, as well as some fake merchandise for our band the "Screaming Butterflies" and many other things. Click below to view my Innovator website and all the work from that unit.

The Portfolio is a showcase of two of our best pieces of work from throughout Freestyle. I chose two websites and display and talk about, since I am proud of them. I chose one older website and one newer one to show my growth over my two years at Freetyle. My Portfolio website it simple to highlight the other two websites that I am displaying.

This is a link to my Old Project Information Page. It was our first website at Freestyle, which was quite a challenge. I feel as though I have improved a lot on my skills from the design elements to the whole idea of building a website. My new project information page has better design elements and is a lot more user friendly.
