I took this photo of my grandmother’s vintage saree packaging on a trip to India. I think this box not only represents culture through traditional Indian clothing but also heritage as the saree was preserved in the box for several decades. The script on the box is Kannada, the local language of the South Indian state of Karnataka, which is where my family comes from. Seeing the vintage packaging preserved by my grandmother was a really nice experience, and I’m glad I could get a photo of it on my trip.
