These are basses stored in Packard Hall, the room where I’ve rehearsed with the MVHS orchestra as a violist for the past four years. I saw the basses in the storage room one day as I was putting away my viola, and I liked how similar yet different they looked up against each other. Each one has slightly different coloring and finish, and different amounts of wear. However, they are all still identical in shape and design, and produce the same notes.
