Introduction

I have continued to create in Freestyle, and I continue to learn. I have made a variety of different creations that I am proud to demonstrate here, today. Each image is the culmination of days, sometimes weeks of work that I will show now.

Narrative Visual Perspective in English

I created a narrative about a man journeying into the Underworld to find redemption, and I think it was a rather successful story – at least in the ways that were graded in the project. At first I wasnt quite certain about working with a group, but I opened up to the concept and I feel it paid off.

Narrative Visual Perspective in Digital Media

I made a lightbox for the Multi Layered Art Project, and I think it went well. The lighting is a bit to apparent in its placement, but otherwise I think its quite a fine piece.

Narrative Visual Perspective in Design

This book jacket was designed for the story mentioned earlier that I made with a group, though it was completed before all of the details of the story were worked out. I personally am quite proud of the art, I made – especially the roadsign on the front cover. Though I think the cover could have been more detailed

This movie poster is again, also for the same story. Im far more proud of this than the book jacket. It’s the first art piece where I really used Charcoal Brushes to their full potential, and I feel the texture they provide is something Ill use for some of my other projects in the future.

This product label was made based off of old snake oil labels, and I feel rather fond of it. I think that it’s a bit plain but it still holds a good place in my heart

This artwork is the original logo created for the label above. There would, of course, be many changes but the main core of the work remained. I feel that this original concept was rather a success, given how minor the changes to it were over the course of the project

This image is a triptych of potential products from the same company that made the label above. I feel that its companion products would be liquid based, because the main product itself is snake oil.

This piece of art is a mirrored image of my name written in cursive, before being filled in with watercolor. I decided to make the full colored image look somewhat like a bug, while still being interesting and appeasing to look at – thus I decided to use an analogous yellow green & blue color scheme.
