I chose this picture to display the rule of thirds because it depicts a cat who has seen something that we can’t see and looks to be watching that thing. The cat is in the far left of the frame, leaving the other two thirds of the shot to just show the scenery, this leaves the cat and its reflection to be the sole focus of the photo.
I think that this picture sets a mood because of a series of elements. I think that the fog for one is very indicative of a sort of somber mood, and that sets the scene. I think that the lack of vibrant colors also plays into this. The general dullness of the scene carries into this mood. Finally, the empty, almost abandoned looking train track adds a sense of loneliness.

I think that this reflects who I am because it is at my desk surrounded by things that are important to me, that make up a lot of my time or that I enjoy.
