In Design, we had to major projects: creating a product label and a movie poster. For both projects, I first created a mood board to use as the blueprint and inspiration for colors, themes, and fonts that I will be using in my final project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Product Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My product is natural, sugar-free jasmine green tea. The product comes with a bag of 20 tea bags and can also be purchased with a reusable to-go tea cup with a lid. This tea brand is mostly targeted towards college student age range, although it can definitely be enjoyed by every age. The goal of the tea is to provide a healthy way to stay awake and with the intention to bring people together (outside of a pandemic world, of course). The name of the tea brand is \u201camitea\u201d, a playoff from the world \u201camity\u201d and the tagline is \u201ca tea to \u201ctea\u201d together\u201d. The tea is intended for people to enjoy together and bond over, whether it\u2019s during group studies or for social events (although it can also be enjoyed alone!).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Movie Poster<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My movie poster is based off of a crime\/drama plot that follows the story of the daughter of a wealthy and well-known family, named Scarlet. She is known as the \u201cpicture perfect\u201d daughter of the owner of one of the biggest privately owned bank corporations in Poland. Although the family gives off a put-together outlook to the public, the family\u2019s entire income and foundation is based on corruption. Scarlet, as a fight against her family and the corrupt system, becomes an infamous criminal. She ironically starts robbing the biggest privately owned banks, hotels, and other large corporations. She is the least likely suspect for her perfect crimes. Scarlet only runs into trouble when she discovers that an innocent man from a poor family is being wrongly accused of her crimes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used Adobe Illustrator to create my movie poster. I was initially going to use Photoshop in addition to Illustrator to create more realistic elements, but as I kept working, I decided that I wanted to create my poster with a more illustrative style rather than realistic. My color scheme was pretty dark and ominous. I mainly used different shades of purple and red to add to the mysterious sense of the movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
