In the humor unit we learned how to analyze humor with multiple techniques. After reading works such as Kurt Vonnegut\u2019s Slaughterhouse-Five <\/em>and Eugene Ionesco\u2019s \u201cRhinoceros\u201d, we were tasked with creating a comedic act of our own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comedic Script Sketch <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Idea – Screen recording of our text messages <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plot – Our foreign mothers bothering us, Hrishas mom ate her greek yogurt, my mom is scolding me about my digital media grade <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellie – Girl<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can my mom RELAX like \u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hrisha – Omg what<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellie – She literally thinks I\u2019m not gonna graduate bc of digital media <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like as if I’m not Master Flo\u2019s fav <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hrisha – Pshhhh ur like Daniela with her health credits <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Girl if ur mom saw my 69% rn<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Master Flo *distressed emoji x3<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellie – I just have to do like five 100 point assignments and I can walk across the stage, it’s fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hrisha – My moms pissing me off too dude <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellie – No bc I literally had a feeling<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hrisha – No u dont understand<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This woman f*cking ate my greek yogurt<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All I wanted to do was come home after my run and enjoy a nice yogurt bowl and SHE ATE IT ALL. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellie – Ur lying <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why would she do that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hrisha – I don’t know like is she fr<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I LITERALLY STARTED BAWLING CRYING AND SHE HAS THE AUDACITY TO LOOK AT ME AND LAUGH AS IF THAT WOULD CREATE PEACE IN THIS SITUATION.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  No I\u2019m actually mad there is fully smoke coming out of my ears    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellie – Inconsiderate asf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hrisha – Hope it was bussin, Vani. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellie – Omg this one time, I was making a smoothie and I asked my dad to grab me yogurt from the fridge to thicken the smoothie, and before he could hand it to me he DROPPED the whole container and there was just yogurt splattered all over my kitchen cabinets, walls, and floor, and since then I have never been able to add yogurt to my smoothies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hrisha – NOOOOOO HAHAHA <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellie – LMAOO <\/p>\n\n\n\n
