Profile Project

For this project, I had to pick someone who had an influence in some way on our community. Pat Wadors is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and the head of Global Talent at LinkedIn. She manages everything that has to deal with the people in the company and makes sure everyone is comfortable in the workplace. She is also a mentor to teens and young adults, helping them with college, jobs, etc. This project was pretty fun for me, since I got to go to LinkedIn, where my profile star works, and could see some behing-the-scenes stuff that went on.

My magazine article contains the text from my research paper I did in English class, as well as the Portrait I did in Design class. This magazine was made in Design class with a program called Adobe InDesign.

My first interviewee was my Profile Star, Pat Wadors. She is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Global Talent at LinkedIn. I've known Pat and her family since I was in fifth grade, so it was great to be able to see the professional side of her.

Dave Wadors was the second person I interviewed, and he is Pat's husband. He stays home and takes care of things there while Pat is at work, like driving their daughter, Katie, to and from school as well as taking care of their dog, Bear. He also works from home, but I didn't get the chance to ask what he works for.

Katie Wadors, Pat and Dave's daughter, was the third person I interviewed. She attents Mountain View High School as a junior, and I've known her since she was in the fourth grade with my brother. Aside from going to school, Katie likes going to the mall with her mom and likes going out places with her dad.
