I wanted to push myself to think deeper, so instead of photographing a person, I decided to capture the soul of an animal. I took a photo of a goat, and through the reflection in its eyes, you can almost peer into how it sees the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was a difficult process because the goat would not stay still and kept getting spooked by the camera. While I wish the photo was a little more zoomed in, I think the unique shape of the goat\u2019s eyes makes the image especially interesting and recognizable. To me, the eyes show the goat\u2019s gentle yet observant nature, which gives the photo a deeper feeling beyond just being a picture of an animal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For this photo, we were supposed to be inspired by the idea of telling the soul through someone\u2019s eyes.
