Welcome and thank you for checking out my small corner of the internet. My name is Evan Segelke, I was a student at Freestyle Academy from 2019-2021. I got to embrace my creative side at freestyle through my classes of Film, English, and Digital Media. What I loved most about being a Freestyle student was either the great community of people or the amazing creative opportunities available to us.

Outside my life as a student, I enjoy learning and improving my abilities with musical instruments. I love playing guitar, bass, and ukulele. I’m also a massive nerd for a multitude of different mediums. I’m a fan of things varying from movies such as Star Wars to bands such as Unknown Mortal Orchestra. I also enjoy exploring and experiencing nature whether that was with my family, boy scout troop, or friends. In my spare time, I also try experimenting with storytelling and different forms of drawing and art.

Reflection about Freestyle:

It was a great community which helped to foster my love of storytelling in its various forms while helping me to break out of my outer shell to express myself more.

Personal Stationery:

Near the end of our freestyle careers, we made our own professional promotional material like resumés. I was somewhat inspired by the art and writing of Kurt Vonnegut Jr. when making my designs.
