My name is Giselle Arellano Guerrero and I am a current Senior attending Mountain View High School and Freestyle Academy. I&#8217;m fluent in both Spanish and English, as well as a current AVID 2026 student. During school I am a part of Poetry Club with the role Public Relations. I enjoy annotating song lyrics of my favorite artists&#8217;, reading, and painting during my free time. I also really like attending concerts with my friends and watching movies.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right has-medium-font-size\" style=\"letter-spacing:1px\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-kubio-color-1-color\">A core value in my life is creativity because it allows me to have full<em> <\/em>freedom and control on whatever I choose to create. I also value unity and respect \u2013 which ties in with creativity \u2013 because whenever I get the opportunity to work with someone on a project I believe the environment should be comfortable and everyone should be held on the same pedestal.&nbsp;<\/mark><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-source-serif-pro-font-family has-medium-font-size\" style=\"letter-spacing:1px;line-height:1.8\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-kubio-color-2-color\">Outside of school I enjoy reading! My favorite book is City of Gods and Monsters! I enjoy reading any genre, but I mostly stick to Fantasy. I love Fall and Winter because I get to see family again during the holidays and everything feels very cozy.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-source-serif-pro-font-family has-medium-font-size\" style=\"line-height:1.8\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-kubio-color-1-color\">Some expectations I have for myself as a Freestyle student is to learn to be more independent. As I get older, I know things will get tougher, and I believe Freestyle will introduce me to certain challenges to get me prepared for the future. I also expect to learn more useful tools regarding media \u2013 like working with programs in Adobe, using new technology etc \u2013 I wouldn\u2019t normally learn in my high school.&nbsp;<br><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-source-serif-pro-font-family has-medium-font-size\" style=\"line-height:1.8\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-kubio-color-2-color\">As a Freestyle student, I value collaboration and responsibility. In a school with a significantly smaller community, I know there will be more opportunities to meet new people, and I intend to use that to my advantage in my time here.
