I know you are reviewing my showcase website, but I am not fully done due to personal responsibilities, and I emailed Mr. Flo about it, and he was okay with it. I wanted to let you know that I will have my showcase website done by next week on Friday, 5\/23. Sorry for any inconvenience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Welcome to My Showcase!<\/strong> Hello, my name is Gloria Vazquez Mendoza, and I am a first-year senior in Design at Freestyle Academy. Outside of Freestyle, I love spending time with my friends and family, especially my cat, Nico, and going to the beach. After graduating, I plan to attend community college to major in Child Development before transferring to a four-year university to pursue a degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences and Disorders. My ultimate goal is to become a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. As a first-generation college student, I am deeply committed to my education, aspiring not only to work with children but also to become the first doctor in my Mexican family. Although I may not continue a career in Design, I still hope to incorporate it into my life by creating posters and videos for school activities. Feel free to reach out to me at gloriav@freestyleacademy.rocks if you have any questions or need any information!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Showcase Video<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For my showcase video, I\u2019ve chosen to highlight my product design project from my Design class. This project includes a logo, label, product mockups, and a magazine advertisement. I selected this piece because I\u2019m especially proud of it, not only for the final result but also for the creative journey it took to get there. These projects were developed using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with After Effects utilized for video editing. This program has given me the opportunity to expand my artistic abilities, freely explore creativity, and push my work in ways I never could have at Mountain View High School. Freestyle has allowed me to express myself through my artwork while being part of a supportive community that encouraged me to open up and embrace who I truly am. I stepped outside my comfort zone in every class, learning various applications, especially in digital media, that have broadened my skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am incredibly grateful for my time at Freestyle, even as a first-year senior. The people I&#8217;ve met and the experiences I&#8217;ve had here have been invaluable.
