For this photo blog, we were asked to use leading lines to represent the concept of infinity. When I thought about ways to “see” infinity that I could photograph, I thought of mirrors. When I was younger, if I ever was staying at a hotel I would always play around with the swiveling mirrors to create as many reflections of myself as I could. For this photo, I wanted to do something simmilar. I expirimented with different mirrors in my house until I found the best combination to create infinite reflections. Then, I had to figure out how to photograph them. This was a challenge because getting my camera close enough to capture the full effect meant the camera would be in the reflections, too. I finally got a good setup and was able to crop the image to show the infinite mirrors.
