About Hannah Hershfeldt:

I am Hannah Hershfeldt, a student at Los Altos High School and Freestyle Academy. I love music and movies. I hope to one day be a producer. I have always been a passionate person about my projects and my beliefs. This podcast reflects several of my interest and beliefs, relating feminism to film.

Introduction section:

To widen our array of skills and opportunities, we have a podcast unit. Podcasts are widely accessible platforms, that allow all people access to become storytellers. For my podcast I researched classic films, sexism in films, and feminist podcasts.

Process section:

We began by researching the fundamentals of podcasts. We read articles and got a basic run down of what goes into making a podcast and aspects such as an intro. We then wrote up a script. Because I am in honors English, I had to create a research based podcast. I collected sources relating to my focus and created a script with an annotated bibliography. Then using pro tools, I recorded and edited my podcast adding music and sound effects.

Final product- Enjoy;)

Reflection:

I am not a person who likes to be incorporated into my work. I  like to communicate indirectly with my audience, so being the host of something even just with my voice, feels like being on camera. It is not my favorite thing, but I appreciate the level this project took me out of my comfort zone.
