Geometry
The geometry of this glass window is so stunning that I knew I had to capture it for this blog. I love how the lines work together to form beautiful shapes. The fragments in the glass also form shapes of color that are so fun to look at.

Angles
I always think the angles formed by the fence outside of my house is really cool so I photographed it for this blog. I like how the lines create cool shapes and angles.

Rule of Odds
The rule of odds makes it really easy to compose a fun photo. I had these three bananas lying around so I used them as my 3 for the rule of odds and it was oddly easy to get a good photo.

Negative space
I thought the empty space around the deer in this image really draws the viewers eyes into the center and onto the deer. I like how this photo uses negative space without eliminating color.

Center Frame Portrait
I took a picture of this couple standing at the shoreline. I like how the vast space around them and their position in the center of the frame makes them look very small and isolated.

Balance in holiday traditions
This photo shows my family’s holiday tradition of alternating who gets to put the star on the Christmas tree. This year we forgot whose turn it was, so my younger sister and I both did it together. I thought this photo was pretty balanced because everything has equal weight and emphasis in the photo.

In this photo blog, based off of the prompt “leading lines” I captured telephone wires against a gloomy sky. Symmetry landscape
I captured these mountains in Pismo Beach immediately after noticing how symmetric they were. It was shocking to me to see the almost perfect symmetry of this landscape as I wondered how something natural could be so symmetric. I knew it would be perfect for this photo blog prompt.
