Balance in holiday traditions
This photo shows my family’s holiday tradition of alternating who gets to put the star on the Christmas tree. This year we forgot whose turn it was, so my younger sister and I both did it together. I thought this photo was pretty balanced because everything has equal weight and emphasis in the photo.

Symmetry landscape
I captured these mountains in Pismo Beach immediately after noticing how symmetric they were. It was shocking to me to see the almost perfect symmetry of this landscape as I wondered how something natural could be so symmetric. I knew it would be perfect for this photo blog prompt.
