We were to write and record a professional podcast, as well as design a logo for it.\u00a0 \u00a0We could work in pairs or alone, and the topic could be anything of our choosing. Mostly, we were just expected to experiment and have fun with this assignment, because like the humor unit, podcasting is a medium we haven&#8217;t had much experience in.<\/p>\n<h2>The Process<\/h2>\n<p>I paired up with my friend Emory, and we decided our goal was to make something breezy, fun and humorous.\u00a0 We quickly came up with the idea of researching and discussing conspiracy theories, as they can be <em>very<\/em> ridiculous and leave a lot to talk about.\u00a0 We decided to just script out our intro and conclusion, because we wanted it to feel like a casual conversation, almost as though we were inviting the listener into our talk, rather than alienating them by having it be too serious.
