This is the video that I made based a shortened version of my essay about Val. I animated it using Adobe After Effects, using short animations to illustrate the points that were being made in the audio. This program is very complicated but allows users to make very impressive animations when used correctly. It was the first time that we used this program, but it came out nice anyway.

Welcome! This website is all about Val Carpenter. If you don't know Val, she is the mayor of Los Altos and an unusual politician. While many politicians live up to the stereotypes for which they are known, Val constantly breaks down stereotypes and makes her own impressions.
