To kick off the Mandala Project, Mr. Flo first taught us how to use a few new functions on Adobe Illustrator which would set a template for the circular shape and reflecting patterns of the mandala designs that we drew. We got to choose the medium that we would laser print our mandala on and had to make variations to our mandala based on the dimensions of our medium to make sure that the engraving would fit. For my mandala material, I chose thick, sliced tree trunk wood with bark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
