This unit, all of our projects centered around the question “Who am I?”. Because much of this time of year is preparing to and going through the process of applying to college, the topics we deal with in Freestyle apply a lot to our real life. Through these project, I was forced to think about myself as an individual and what aspects of my life and personality set me apart from my peers. I contemplated what values are important to me and what events shaped the person I am today. We were able to answer this question in a huge variety of media and expressions, from video essays to artwork.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of our assignments in English was to create a list of essence objects which represent us as a person and the experiences we’ve had. My list:<\/span><\/p>\n
