I like this picture because it makes me feel different things. At first glance, the man looks like he’s beaten down and the flowers are too heavy for him. But in reality, his wife is helping him adjust the flowers, and he is on his knees to better assist him. He is about to go down to the market to sell his flowers so he could feed his wife and children. The colors are rich, warm, and vibrant. It also makes me think of the past and that he captured a specific moment in time, like Diego saw this and decided to put this on a canvas.
