The Explorations Project gave students the option to explore whatever topic they wanted, in order to improve on whatever skills they wanted relating to their elective. As a Design student, I chose to explore character design. I have been drawing my entire life, and recently have been really invested in character design after seeing the masterful character designs in the video game series, Danganronpa. My goal was to create visually appealing characters that are recognizable, as it would enhance my creativity since character design is like building an entire human being from the ground up

I had a blast with this project. I was able to work on the skill that matter most to me and be able to present it to my teacher and classmates. I work very hard to design characters so I was very satisfied to produce this sequel to my Digital Media Stickers Project with Illustrator. I now feel I have a more solidified understanding in how to make characters recognizable and visually appealing.
Experimental Music
I was very excited to be able to attempt to create my own music, but didn’t get as far as I had hoped given how the year was just starting to wrap up. However I think I managed to get the hang of producing music with this project.
