Hello and welcome to my music video website! Within is contained the various elements of this extensive unit myclassmates and myself work tirelessly to complete. The overarching goal was to team up with 3 other Freestyle students to form groups of 2 Web/Audio students and 2 Film students to produce a music video with a musical genre and cinematic theme of our devising. My groupmates and I decided to mock the expansion of social media through song, in which I helped write our lyrics, brainstorm story ideas, edit, and produce the actual music. This unit was extremely enjoyable and employed large amounts of creative collaboration. We also created artwork for a CD case for our song. All in all this unit was immensely developmentally beneficial and very enjoyable.

Between my group and myself, we devised a music video focusing on the effects that have arisen from the social media explosion. Our verses cover a young boy trapped by the internet's allure as he stumbles through Facebook, Tumblr, and Instagram. We spent countless hours planning, figuring out the notes and chords, filming, recording, editing, and creatively problem-solving.
