One of their most defining features, however, is their setting in an urban environment, usually a dense and seedy one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Noir calls back to Gothic imagery of grotesquely spiring towers, illuminated by pale streetlight and choking the streets in dark shadow.
