Documentary

How do I artistically display important events, ideas, groups, or people?

Gathering both secondary and primary sources from different viewpoints was something we had to do as Juniors to research an important topic in the community. We wrote narrative-style journalistic papers with those sources and displayed it not only through writing, but in art. My documentary project is on the motivations behind Bullis Mountain View. I wanted to research this because it affects residents of Mountain View and the education situation there. I really valued going outside and talking to the people I interviewed because it gave me some insights to their roles in creating the school and what went into it. It was definitely interesting to hear and read many different opinions on the subject.

Artistic looking spelling of research paper

In english, we were lucky enough to be able to spend most of the semester working on a research paper. We were allowed to choose any story that is worth telling. Below is my paper and my documentary animation. For the animation we had to create an animation

z, so that is included below as well. Enjoy!
