Welcome to my website! My name is Jerry Liang<\/mark><\/strong> and I am currently a senior attending Mountain View High School and Freestyle Academy<\/mark><\/strong>.<\/mark> I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and I live with my younger brother Jason, my mom and my dad! I really enjoy hanging out with my friends, family, as well as creating art using both physical and digital media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My core values<\/mark><\/strong> in life are having compassion, perseverance, courage,<\/mark> <\/mark><\/strong>and just well-being in general. These values are super important to me because it allows me to make new friends and become a person that anyone can reach out to, and also allows me to achieve something that I have never done before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because I value well-being, something I like to do outside of school is spending time with my friends and family <\/mark><\/strong>in order to relax and have some fun! In addition to that, I enjoy drawing,<\/mark> <\/mark><\/strong>both on paper and digitally, because not only does it allow me to relax, but it is a powerful way to spread a message visually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of art, since I enjoy creating in general, this was my number one motivator<\/mark><\/strong> for joining Freestyle Academy. I really wanted to improve with my skills in working with advanced technology, as I know I will come out of Freestyle being an expert at everything: <\/mark>making films, websites, designs and so much more.<\/strong> <\/mark>As of right now, I already see myself exploring the Adobe Apps, and the advanced technologies, such as the iMacs, our Cameras, and our microphone capabilities to create media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Freestyle student, something I really value about is the opportunity to work professionally and build skills I would use in the future.<\/mark><\/strong> I want to make the most of this opportunity where I get to interact with staff who are rich in knowledge, and spend time in classrooms that are rich in resources. I am fascinated in the professional equipment offered to make professional media such as high-end websites, films, and designs, and the paid opportunities Freestyle offers for me to use my art skills to help the community. With all these professional staff and resources to guide me, I cannot wait to apply the skills I learn to the real world.
