I did some research on macrophotography and I heard that you need the long telephoto lens, with a low ISO, very short shutter speed, and a low f stop. However, I probably did it wrong, because when I got close to the subject, it got very blurry even though I adjusted the focus accordingly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#f0deff\">So this time, I decided to just settle with my 50mm lens. I decided to place the purple flower in my front yard is the center of attention in this photograph. Then I made the f stop really low so that the background would be blurry, and my audience would not look anywhere else other than this close up of the purple flower. Then I went into Adobe Photoshop to slightly darken the flower because it appeared to be too bright.
