Reflections

The Reflections unit was a unit about answering the question “Who Am I?” We really had to look inward for the projects that we did in our different classes for this unit. Personal Museum Curation

Part of freestyle is that each year, we go to the SFMOMA. This year, as seniors we had to take pictures of artwork that spoke to us.

Here is my personal museum, Just click on the picture below:

Mandalas

In digital media we learned how to make mandalas in adobe illustrator. Making mandalas is a very relaxing process that I enjoyed a lot.

Personal Essay

In english we worked on making essays that fit in the format for a personal essay that could be used for college admissions. We read and learned about different personal essay structures.

Reflections Video

In film class, we made a video essay. The subject of the video essay was pretty open ended as long as it had something to do with me. The videos had to be interesting of course, so we watched a few examples of videos to get an Idea of what to do.

This is a screenshot of my workspace on Adobe Premiere, the program I used to edit this video.

This project was fun because it was different from just filming people. I got to explore with more fun ways to shoot inanimate objects. It was really rewarding for me to come up with an idea for a shot in my head and try to figure out different ways to film to get the shot.
