Art I would ADD to my Personal Museum

Fayum by Nancy Graves

This art piece showed a hydrangea plant made out of metal. It was cool to see nature being represented through different materials like metals that are distinctively different from the actual plant itself if it was the real thing. Thinking more about this piece of art, it felt strange that the plant would be hard, which is completely different to how the actual plant would feel. The contrasts with the texture and the way the material shined on the metal stood out to me because even though the plant looks the same to the actual thing, they are different. I also really liked the natural colors that were chosen with the green and brown and nothing too flashy like neon colors.
