We were tasked with, in a professional journalistic manner, to research and document a person, place, location, group, or otherwise. This was an extremely fun unit which I got to control my pace and grow my skillset throughout the unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English-Research paper<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In english we were require to do a profile article on a person. I decided who than our very own , former, journalistic educator Mr.Kahl. Throughout the process, which was an expansive one taking up most of the months of the school year, I had the privilege to learn and research more about journalism and my teacher who once taught such skills to me. Due to my busy schedule outside of Film I had concepts which I waned to work on, however I kept being pushed away from different groups. Just days before we were supposed to have a final cut, our teacher gave me permission to work on my own project on my own. I chose to do it about stagecraft, a class and group I hold a lot of love and passion for, and I was able to contact quickly, which was needed given the insane turn around. In just three days I had a full edit finished. I am extremely proud as while at point it may not be the highest quality, given its turnaround and solo nature I am very proud of the assignment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"23 24 p3 Jr Documentary JuanV\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hoWP-4XGrnk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reflection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall this unit made me learn a whole lot of new skills. it kept me consistent with my Journalism writing, as well as taught me proper lighting of a subject, audio recording, and many other things. overall, i am glad I did so many parts of this project on my own as it made the process more fulfilling to me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Introduction Our documentary unit was a really great experience.
