Welcome to my portfolio website! Below you will find the two best projects I have created during my time at Freestyle.  This is my second year as a Digital Media student at Freestyle.  During my time here I have learned most of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Affects, Animator, and Flash.  Outside of Freestyle I participate in Boy Scouts, football, basketball, and track.  My art has been influenced by my experiences in the outdoors and sports.  Next year I will be studying Arts and Entertainment Technology and playing football at the University of Texas at Austin.  I hope you enjoy!

Zenith Project

For our final project at Freestyle we were assigned the Zenith project which allowed us to create anything we wanted to using all the skills we have learned during our time at Freestyle.  Once we were assigned the Zenith project I knew right away I wanted to incorporate the skills I had learned over the summer in my Foothill college class.  After some thinking I decided to combine my knowledge in engineering with my love for bowhunting.  When I first got my bow I wanted to buy a mount for a rangefinder.  After a quick Google search I realized that this product was not on the market.  This inspired me to use the resources I had at Freestyle and my knowledge of 3D modeling to create this product as my Zenith project.  After deciding on this project I started to create some rough sketches of different possible designs.  Then I researched a common mounting position on all bows so the mount could fit any bow on the market.  I went on to 3D model my best design using Solidworks.  After many adjustments of the design I finally started 3D printing.  The product took an entire week to print after many misprints.  My lengthy research was shown in my final product because I was able to accomplish everything I wanted to in the bow mount.  I also created a website for this project which can be opened by clicking on the link below.

Explorations Project

For our final project for our Junior year at Freestyle was the Explorations project. For this Project, we were asked to choose a 21st century skill that can be used at Freestyle, research the skill and master it. During the research process we were trusted with managing our own time throughout the whole project. We were also allowed to chose to work in either Film/Web, English, or Design class. I chose to research Sports Photography as my 21st Century skill as sports are a central part of my life. I started off the project by simply researching tips and camera settings from professional sports photographers and then I used that knowledge to take my own sports photos. Then, I created this informational website on sports photography adding the photos that I took as examples and giving beginners simple tips to start taking sports images. In the process of creating this website I used Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe photoshop to design the website and edit photos.
