Introduction

Hi! My name is Karna Chelluri. This is the website on which I will showcase all of my websites for my two years at Freestyle Academy. This website will include links to all of my websites from both junior and senior year so you can see how I’ve grown as a student and a website developer. I am incredibly proud of all of the work that I have done so far here at Freestyle Academy. I’d like to thank all of the teachers here at Freestyle for teaching me how to utilize the tools they have to create media.

I've learned how to use many tools during my tenure here at Freestyle. Here are just some of the many I used to create the media you see on all of these pages:

* Adobe Dreamweaver, Lightroom, Photoshop,                  Illustrator, Flash, InDesign

* Pro Tools

* Reason

My intention is that you go through each page I have created and watch as I demonstrate how I have learned new skills and applied them to the work that I do. Every new project brought a new challenge and from that crucible, I emerged a more skillful person. On the different websites, you’ll see music that I have composed, a book that I have written, and much more! Please enjoy!

Self-Portrait

The self-portrait website was the first project that I did here at Freestyle. It showcases my interests, my friends and my family. The purpose of this website was to introduce myself as a new student at Freestyle. On this website, you will see a personal essay that I wrote in English about my passion for writing music. You will also see pages about my friends and my family.
Narrative 1
The narrative unit was the second Freestyle project I got to do. In this project, our assignment was to create a graphic novel in English and turn it into an animation in Web/Audio. This was by far the most challenging project for me to do, but I learned how to use Toon Boom Studio in the process. You will see my project as it evolved from a drawing to an animatic to an animation.
Documentary
My documentary website features the project that I did in the third quarter of my junior year at freestyle. For this project, I documented a local guitar store and the declining influence of the guitar in popular music. To collect my ideas, I wrote a book and designed it myself in Adobe InDesign. This project showcases my skill with Adobe Indesign as well as my love for rock and roll.
Conceptual
My conceptual website was the project I did during the final quarter of my junior year at Freestyle. For this unit, we pulled slips of paper that told us what feeling we were to write poems about. To see what slips of paper I drew and how I turned them into different kinds of media, enter this website!
Profile
On this website, I profile my best friend and semi-professional swimmer, Albert Gwo. Here, you will hear interviews, see photos and be able to read the profile article that I wrote about him. I had a lot of fun doing this project. I used Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver over the process of doing this project and I learned a lot of new skills. I hope you enjoy this one!
Narrative 2
The purpose of the Narrative 2 project was to create a story, book jacket, and surreal art about a story that we'd written in English.
Innovator
The innovator project was a project in which we were able to create our own project based on our interests. Max Weber and I make a mockumentary and then a faux website based on the the story. You can go ahead and look at our innovator project below.
Portfolio

This is my portfolio project. The purpose of the project was to showcase all of the great work we've done here at Freestyle to a panel of professionals. I chose to showcase my writing to the panel. I showed how I grew as a writer between my Junior and Senior year.
