My name is Kayla Bistrain and I am a student at Freestyle Academy. At Freestyle, I’ve taken classes in Digital Media, Design, and English. Outside of freestyle, I like to play waterpolo, swim, go out with my friends, or go to the beach. Next year I will be attending Cal Poly SLO to study mechanical engineering, and I hope to bring my skills that i’ve learned over the past two years to help me visualize and better show my future work. I am very excited to move on to this point in my life and hope to someday mix my design emphasis with an engineering education. I am very excited to show my work to you and hope that you enjoy!

Reel

For my reel, I put together 5 of my favorite projects that I made this year in freestyle. I really loved expanding on my skills and getting better the more I put together. I am very proud to show you this reel and hope you enjoy watching!

Showcase Video

Reflection

Throughout my time here at Freestyle, I have learned a ton about myself and I am proud to have learned all that I did. I have loved being a part of the community here and it has helped me grow an insane amount in two short years. I have learned so much about all the Adobe applications, as well as developing a passion for design and creating things. Throughout all of these projects that I have made, I have learned a lot that I will definitely be able to use and incorporate in the future. I hope to bring my skills with me and use them in conjunction with my future plans in becoming a Mechanical Engineer.

Welcome to my website!
