It also teaches creative perseverance. Learning about professional tools&nbsp;and software, including DSLR cameras, &nbsp;audio recorders, Adobe Photoshop, , Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, and more. These skills will be the building blocks to our next years at Freestyle Academy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">I value the effort that my three teachers at Freestyle give. The pages of thorough instruction that Mr Flo creates for us to understand takes time and I value the help given. I appreciate Mr Greco acknowledging his students&#8217; mental health and therefore putting in daily preclass meditations to give us a space of peace. After discussing the play we went on to research our own artists and see their messages. Art comes in all forms such as music which has impacted my life in so many ways. I listen to music every single day for multiple hours. I&#8217;m listening to music while writing. Music specifically has connected me to many people as I used to be in the performing arts and it led me to meet many nice people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Photoshop Blend Mode Editing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project was learning about the application Photoshop in a deeper way. Photoshop has its many tools and learning to blend two different photos together in a couple of different ways is super cool. We were able to learn how to brighten and darken photos, make items pop, and add a photo on top of another. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"gallerySet\"><!-- DO NOT DELETE THIS LINE!!!! It is REQUIRED.-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Film<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Film has been a rollercoaster with moments of ups and downs. Learning the basics of different film languages such as Griffiths&#8217;s pattern 180 rule, and Hitchcock and Baby. Those terms might sound like gibrish but Mr Taylor makes everything understood. In this, you have to write shot ideas and the sequence of shots. I used a big red light to add suspense. The moon-shaped head you see was first added as a joke as my actor(my dad) was messing around and I decided to film it. During my round of dailies in class my feedback was to add more and that became the base of my film. The suspicion is added as we don&#8217;t know what is behind the door and the light. This process was long and challenges arose as it was our first time editing alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Music<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As one of our final projects to end the year in Digital Media, we learned how to use Pro Tools. We learned the basics of different instruments then the world of creativity was ours. My song had inspiration from many instrumental pieces such as, &#8220;Jacob and the Stone&#8221; by Emile Mosseri, &#8220;Present&#8221; by Lloyd Vaan, and &#8220;The Sound of Myself&#8221; by Disasterpeace. I originally wanted to make a rap beat but quickly found new inspiration as I was playing random chords at home on my piano. Once I had a base idea I spent numerous hours tweaking and adding different parts.
