I thought that it would represent the element of Earth in a lighthearted and funny manner. However, during my photo taking session, I found that dirt didn&#8217;t look nearly that interesting by itself unless there was foliage and plant life sprouting from it. This is why I chose to make the subject of the photo this plant against a background of dirt and cement, to demonstrate how the element of Earth gives way to life, and how the soil would feel incomplete without the organisms there to enrich it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My original idea for this prompt, which I joked to my friends about, was to take an inspirational photo of dirt.
