Hello! I’m Kimi Aquino, a Film student here at Freestyle Academy. Ever since I was little, I have enjoyed making music videos and short movies with my two older brothers. I partake in various athletic activities like volleyball and dance. I love animals and have two dogs: Koji and Poppy, and two cats: Lulu and Yuzu. My favorite movie genre is horror.
My core values in life are friendship, family, adventure, and laughter. I value these aspects because I would like to surround myself with them. I believe that filling your life with adventure and laughter helps lead to an overall better life. I always appreciate when someone can get a real laugh out of me, which is not a very hard thing to do. I believe that humor is one of the best ways to get to know someone and really deepen a bond between people.
I am currently passionate about volleyball, especially beach volleyball. I am currently hoping to go to college in Southern California, where I can continue my beach volleyball career. Although I also play indoor club volleyball, the feeling of playing beach volleyball is one that cannot be topped.
I chose to become a Freestyle student because I saw, through my brothers, how much fun it is to be a part of this program. I was especially interested in Film because you get to make a movie of your own in a more professional way that really enhances your storytelling through filmmaking. Something I appreciate about being a Freestyle Student is the vast amount of opportunities that are available and all of the special equipment that Freestyle has. We are so lucky to have the chance to work with all that is offered here at Freestyle Academy, and I am so grateful to have a chance to work with all of it.
