Who is Prakash Nanduri?
Welcome to my Profile Unit Website! Here, you can view our various works we created for our fifth production unit at Freestyle Academy. For this unit, we were assigned to find someone inspiring in our community to highlight in a profile. Once we had selected our profilee, we created several media works based on the overarching profile star interviewee. In English, we drafted our own profie articles about our interviewee which included pieces of independent research and direct sources from not only our star interviewee, but also three others who are close to the star. From the article, we created a magazine layout in Design to add visual interest to our Profiles. You can view my magazine by clicking on the thumbnail below. Using Adobe InDesign, we created a four page magazine layout, while using Photoshop to touch up and improve individual pictures and design elements. In Web Audio, we created a Media Feature (below) and Profile Project Presentation (in the Presentation section) for our media elements of the project. Using Adobe After Effects, we created our Media Feature condensing information from our articles and adding motion effects and pictures for visual interest.

Presentation
The overall goal of the Profile unit here at Freestyle Academy was to learn to ethically, yet honestly portray someone influential within our community who deserves recognition for their work. After reviewing several profiles written by many other authors, from previous Freestyle students to published journalists, we started creating our own profiles. I had many challenges in this project, from time management due to extremely busy, conflicting schedules, to web troubles in Dreamweaver and After Effects. All in all, I am proud of my growth as a student, artist, and person in this unit.
