Through discovering more about these programs I learned how to create effective drum beats and complimenting chord structures. The following are some examples of how I practiced using these softwares and some of the music I was able to create.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">ProTools<\/h2>\n<p>One of the applications we learned was ProTools. This application is different from ProTools because of its layout, plug-ins, and accessibility. It mainly consisted of me playing random chords and notes and trying to create a pattern I could replicate. I then found the video I recorded of the piece while studying at Freestyle. The timing was perfect because I discovered it after learning how to work the Reason application. I then recorded and edited the music to create a raw copy.<\/p>\n<p>I also made a song cover design for my piece using Illustrator.
