I love taking photos of memories as much as the next guy. In fact, I love taking photos and videos of events to retain memories more than most people do. And this picture to me feels like that. Which, though I love taking them, is not art. This looks like something a decently skilled wedding photographer would take. This photo is nice, I bet it is meaningful to these two people and shows what the venue looked like. But it's just a picture. I know Rick Ruben says every decision is art. But I really can't see why, “say cheese” is deserving of the sf moma. It probably took like 2 seconds, without any thought to it except, “Hey look at these people Im gonna take a photo.” It’s not a photograph, it's just a photo.
