The whole section made me annoyed. Ellsworth Kelly has this whole series of flat colored plates that look like this. This looks like something I would make in digital media and Mr. Flo would be disappointed in me for making it. There’s just not much to it. It’s not bold, it’s not interesting to look at. I even dont like the name. “Blue Panel.” Yea, it's a blue panel. Imagine if the painter of “singers” at the top of this page called it “faces on canvas.” It's just quite disappointing. There was a description on the side where it talked about how she found the exact measurements to create the curve she wanted to. But nobody is gonna know that from seeing this. People who walk past this are going to see a sliced blue flat thing.
