Students were challenged to investigate a topic of their choice, by conducting research across various sources, and writing a lyrical essay of their own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For my Lyrical Essay, I chose to write about growing older, college, responsibilities, and the worries that students have about it. Not only did I have to focus on my college applications as I was writing this, but I also had work from extracurriculars and other classes in school. I recall that I was stressed every day, and I had trouble focusing on my work because I was constantly overwhelmed.
